The funny thing is I trust the guy talking on the phone running down the road in and 80,000lbs rig more than I trust Susie Q soccer mom talking on the phone running 30 minutes late to get her kids driving her Suburban. When you have close to 25 trucks on the road the thought of those fines are a bit scary.

Damn this cold! Haven't been sick in a long time.

 

Seem's like they're singling out commercial driver's and not worrying about the other's talking and texting while driving.

 

That's because it's easier to enforce because of the DOT officers looking at only the commercial side compared to the regular LEO's trying to enforce everything. The real kick to the teeth is the last figures I saw, only 3% of the accidents were caused by or involved commercial vehicles.

Went to a late movie last night, could have used one more hour of sleep.

 

Spread another 32 50# bags of salt this morning......... I'm tired, I think it's time for a nap.

 

Nope, It's brownie time! Better than donuts!

 

I don't think we have brownies, but there may be some chocolate cake left from yesterday.

 

I have 3 things all needing to be done right now. I can't decide which one to do first, so I'm going into shut down mode. Maybe after a nap, I will know where to start.

It poured rain last night, it was a huge cold miserable steam bath on the battery

 

This desk job is killing me. All I do is sit all day and by the time I get home I am too mentally tired to exercise. And it pays too much to quit. Never thought Id say I miss my physical job that I had. I don't miss how much it paid though.
