Well, maybe not if you are a snake, or have an affinity for them.

Pulling into the driveway yesterday evening there was a big nasty cotton mouth laying across the top of the driveway. I ran over him, but of course, it didn't kill him. So, I pulled my Glock out of my purse and shot him several times...thing is...they keep moving when you shoot them. It's like they just refuse to die. So, I emptied all 12 rounds into him and cut him up into several chunks.

Then... I leave to go get something to eat and come back and there is another one laying up there really close to where the other one was. (Presumably its mate.) I don't bother to run over this one because I know it won't kill it... I had not reloaded the Glock (big mistake on my part) so I had to pull out the Khar from the console and shoot this one. I didn't bother to stop with a few shots, given what I had just gone through with the other one, so I just unloaded all 12 rounds into him (her) whatever it was and cut it up into several chunks too.

I have been VERY careful to watch for the rest of the family when I take Dolly out for her walks.

Rat snakes do not have triangular viper heads and stubby tails and smell like something dead. I'm sure.
