Mine gave me a kick too. It's leaking oil around the PTO plate on the side of the block. A $10 gasket and I should be good to go.
You got off cheap....the fuel pump is $112 from Mother Deere.

Here a pic that my wife took while I was cutting the grass and for the most part I am a very happy camper.

I need to put some stiffer springs on to support the seat better though it's a little bouncy.

$112 Guess that's better than a rod going through the block though...

It looks great Dave! Makes me want to tear mine apart this winter and re-do it. I repainted it after I got it. It didn't turn out too bad but it could be better. I started tearing it apart one afternoon around 3PM and had it painted and back together by 9AM the next morning.

Thanks Matt, it's true it could have been worse. It's a disease and it's pretty fun at the same I am also finding out that I really enjoy doing it. I am going to need a bigger shop.

you ever get the CC recall done? what about the recall for lighted running boards?

Sharp Expy, I still think you should keep the miles off of it. They're hard to find in such low mileage/clean as that
