Paw Paw, every time I tromp that little 5.0, I am amazed. Pretty stout little engine, at any speed.

I'm not sure what kinda match youins got down there in Cajunland, but 48 days is not equal to 2 weeks.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'm ready for the 34* Friday night.

The last few weeks has been perfect weather.

Unbelievable coincidence. I had been told they were from Killeen, but that was a mistake. They were from Breckenridge and drove over 2 hours to get here. Breckenridge is where I was born and have lots of cousins still there. He had borrowed the money for the truck from my cousin's bank, and brought a cashier's check which my cousin had signed.

They had done a carfax on the truck and new all about it already. I am glad a young guy that seems to appreciate ended up with it. One of the reasons I wanted to sell it myself, plus I got what I wanted for it. Still painful, though, I love that truck.
She'll have a good home back where you grew up.......congrats!

btw another thing about the tuner ........how long can you run the extreme, just like any other tune or no? cuz I remember like 2 years ago one of my friends telling me that his uncle or something ran his truck on some extreme for a day or two straight and it up his engine but idk maybe he was using the wrong fuel.

Gas milage still stands at 17 and have gone about 350 miles in it since, but it is still changing every quarter or mile or so, if its avg over the whole time shouldnt have leveled out by now? Also I have it showing the instant avg. too and when I coast the instant shows up as like 60+mpg and when I accelerate it is like 5mpg which makes sense, but if all it is doing for the avg is adding all the instants and dividing by the total number that would skew the hell out of it towards a higher number (a 60 would pull an avg more than a 5.....might explain high mpgs)...Dono just a theory.
Also I checked the gear ratio and couldnt find where to change it but my speedo is right so shouldnt that mean gears are right?
Ummm must of been a diesel probably.....extreme setting is pretty new to the gasser canned tune lingo......you should be able to run it 24/7 365 days a year and so on.....only use 91-93 octane gas.....don't tow in this level.....that's level 2........

The less you reset avg mpg the more accurate it becomes......reset it every three tanks......

Ian I guess you need to read up on the new mustangs. The v6 mustangs are awesome and get 31 mpg.
