Let's start over......
Thanks guys, I met a member who writes a lot of tech articles (MJB) he's one town over from me. Came up to me at Target this weekend when I was working, really nice guy. I wonder if he would give me a hand? I'll shoot him an email. My brother made a good point... how to replace slotted rotors if something happens? Would a high quality oem style be a smarter route? I've read Shanin's article a few times, I'd like to have someone do guide me through it... pat why don't you live closer
And congrats WIll and good luck HarleyDude

That's the route I took back in 08 and haven't had a problem. I used Brembo Rotors w/liftime Carquest Ceramics (pads) and Cardon calipers w/ steel piston replacements.
These rotors haven't worn or warped. They still look new. It's the set up these trucks should have from the get go IMO. Ford cheaps out on the brake hardware for the half tons. Ford brake hoses are the worst.
