I wouldn't say that, there are still quite a few asbestos lawsuits out there. Mesothelioma comes to mind.

true, but i dont think that "still lawsuits out there" would justify her original comment about not mentioning the year

They were still abating asbestos in the late 70's (although no company will admit to that). Actually, it was in the 90's.
