You should have seen the dirty looks we got from neighbors when we used to time my friends street stock with a 383 with a very nice lumpy cam at 7pm.

I feel for my neighbors when I start my truck at 5:25am every morning since I added the OBX headers along with my ROR exhaust.

Hope everything goes well for him Will. He is the same age as I am and that some pretty scary stuff to go through.

I bet mine hate me more than yours hate you...... Straight pipe at 5:45am on a -10* Feb morning let it idle for a little bit and then hit the switch for high idle and go back inside and take my shower and come back out at 6:15.

Yeah he has been in the hospital since last Friday. He went in with classic left arm numbness. Heart problems run in his family, had an older brother die from heart issues.

On Saturday while sleeping in the bed the nurses came in and woke him up. Apparently the monitors went off and they came a running. Told him his heart rate was 24 bpm. Scary stuff if you think about it. He's probably had that for a long time and could have easily died in his sleep.

He's not unhealthy except he smokes. Not too overweight, and 6'6". Just dealt a bad heart due to genetics. Pacer is supposed to make him better and more energetic. He'll be outfishing me badly in no time.

I am glad that your friend will be out whipping your tail on the lake soon. My dads side of the family has heart problems and my dad had a quad by-pass two years ago and he's only 60. I am so not looking forward to finding out if I have the same problem or not.

Yeah I'm lucky heart issues don't run in the family but my Oma and my Dad both had clogged carotid arteries and had to have one of them cleaned out, or roto rooted out as my Dad says lol. Oma had a mild stroke due to hers, Dad luckily didn't. Weird stuff I don't want to find out about either. :o

Watching the Cup Finals. Go Canucks!!!

I have had my cholesterol tested and it was fine but so was my dads and my great grandfather dropped dead from a hear attack (he was 100% german he was one tough SOB judging from my grandfather). I also ate like a total slob for years eating fast food and anything greasy I could get my mits on so the cards are kinda stacked against me on this one.

Oh yeah..... GO BRUINS!!!!!

Stopped by to see my boss earlier. He was to get up a walk around for a little bit but he's still pretty dizzy. He did have a small stroke. One more test tomorrow so he may get to go home tomorrow or Friday.

You just never know when your number is up. He's 47, doesn't smoke, drinks a beer on occasion, works out several times a week and still got hit.
