Let's start over......
Well he does too but the trolling motor battery was dead. His onboard battery charger malfunctioned and almost cooked the battery. He caught it before it blew, boiled off all the water in it. He thought he salvaged it but it wasn't true.
We took it back and traded it in for a new one.

I had to do some work on the trailer light plug on my truck too. Whoever had it before me cut all the wires and spliced them back together
The wire for the running lights was cut, the left turn signal wire was so corroded it fell apart, the brake light wire had 2 wires holding it together and the other wire was about ready to go also. I cut and ran new wire to the plug so hopefully that'll last a while.
I don't understand why people do the things they do sometimes.
