I hope your boat runs out of gas in the middle of the lake!

Ours ran out of gas last trip!

His boat's motor is designed to putt across the lake with little throttle, good thing it wasn't windy!

I have an electric trolling motor. That'll have to do if I run out of gas. I'm not rowing!

Well he does too but the trolling motor battery was dead. His onboard battery charger malfunctioned and almost cooked the battery. He caught it before it blew, boiled off all the water in it. He thought he salvaged it but it wasn't true. We took it back and traded it in for a new one.

I had to do some work on the trailer light plug on my truck too. Whoever had it before me cut all the wires and spliced them back together The wire for the running lights was cut, the left turn signal wire was so corroded it fell apart, the brake light wire had 2 wires holding it together and the other wire was about ready to go also. I cut and ran new wire to the plug so hopefully that'll last a while.

I don't understand why people do the things they do sometimes.
