BTW....Stealth

The bulbs in the housings were changed out last fall....ultravisions for the heads and silverstars for the run/turn....barely any hours on them....

Well, for the recall, instead of having to leave the truck half a day, when I told him I did not need any other services, they got it done in about 30 minutes. Glad that is done. I asked if they had good luck doing the plugs on the 3v 5.4 and he said thaey had one right now that they were pulling the head. broken pieces in the cylinder. I asked what they charged for a plug change and he said they started at $550. I told him I thought I would stick with bankston where they did it with no problems for $325.

They must not be in good practice on the plug changes.

I keep telling you guys you need to ditch the plugs and you won't have those problems.

I haven't had a problem and don't expect to. The only real option is Champion, and due to past experience with Champion, I would have to be desparate to go to Champion plugs. Just don't think I could ever do it, even if they do end up lasting as long as the Motorcraft.
