We had a great time at our 50th highschool reunion. Hope you all get that opportunity some day. Out of a class of 260, there were 110 there and 52 or no longer with us. so about half of the possibles. Pretty good turnout considering how far some had to travel. Remembering old times was a lot of fun as was seeing how some succeeded that you thought would be a total failure. It was very tiring but lots of fun. Had a Doo Wop 50s and 60s band as the entertainment on Saturday night. Some of the group can still rock! Some can even do the twist! LOL'

My two main basketball buddies were there and they are back in this area, so we are going to get together some.

Sunday wasn't good for the boy and the soccer team....after some BAD refereeing in both games the team fell apart and lost hope....

Close games though....first was 2-3 and second was 3-5......
What didn't help either is his team is a rec team and the teams they lost to were club teams....

I am sorry to hear that, I have played hockey games like that when the calls are one sided and they are no fun to play.

Yep, the kids learn a lesson about life you wish they never had to learn.

Yeah, it's always tough to swallow a loss because of crappy refereeing it's one thing to beaten fair and square but bad officiating is just a sour pill to swallow. We played a set of games the refereeing was so bad both coaches took us off the ice 5 minutes into the second period of the second game.

I would like to know how that happened, because tournaments normally supply outside refs for just this reason.

Don't worry we filed a protest....not that it'll do any good but the board knows of the disgust...
