I just have proof of why i dont trust anyone but myself to do work on my vehicle

I just did an oil change on my truck 5.5 quart capacity. I took out slightly less then 3 quarts! The previous owner had his oil changed at random quick lube places

I once pulled 6 quarts out of a 4 quart Honda. Dumb chick went 12K miles without an oil change, decided it was making a funny sound, then added two quarts.

dark but not too abused yet. Im glad i didnt try to pull a trailer, or wait any longer to do the oil change. funny thing too i checked the oil level before i bought the truck, maybe the dipstick got messed up by the oil quick lube places too

Maybe the oil change place does a "special" dipstick mod to save on oil.

wouldnt surprise me. It was reading in the hatches when i checked it after the oil change, maybe i didnt get a good wipe when i looked at it before i bought it
