97-03 Regular cabs 4x4
If I couldn't put my seat back during long rides, I'd go ape s-h-eye-tee crazy. I don't know how y'all do it.
My back and legs would kill me. Thank God for adjustable pedals and steering wheel!

Man I'm 6',6" and these regular cabs have a whole lot more room than chevys. I was going to get a ext. cab chevy cause I couldn't fit in a regular cab chevy at all and didn't think I would fit in a f-150 but was so surprised that I've kept my truck for bout 9 years now.
I could not grab the wheel.
I could just barely touch it with my fingertips, I'm 6'2".Maybe somebody 6'6" could grab the wheel with their back in the seat but, nobody drives with their arms straight out elbows locked.
As far as moving the seat bottom, the supercab and regular cab have the same track.
Ya, me too, 6'6" and I actually have the seat forward a few clicks. I can drive it all day relaxed.
Thread was started before the 97-03 section was made.

I'm 6'4" and 280 lbs.. I am larged framed, long arms and legs.
I also have back problems and knee problems with sciatica.
I drive to pick my daughter up.. it's a 6 hour round trip drive every other weekend.
I tilt my wheel down so I can see the dash, pedals half-way so I can reach them, seat back to relax my back, and my seat itself half-way so my legs can reach the pedals.
I didn't mean everything was backed to the wall.
I have tried sitting in a reg cab truck and the inability to let the seat back was excruciating to me injuries.
I often switch positions, seat back, seat up, pedals down, pedals up, wheels down, wheels up.... to relieve pressure on my back.
Real bad back injuries and driving are just not friendly.
I also have a massage chair that vibrates, heats.. etc. Oh, the heat feels so good!

My 40/60 Leather six way power driver seat is very comfortable.
The seat back reclines until the headrest hits the back glass, which I mentioned above is an undriveable position.
I think your issue is with the seat.
You would have been just as uncomfortable in a low end supercab.

Yea, the different seats do make a difference. But, the seats in the regular cabs are completely different than a lot of the supercab/crew seats. I find that the higher shoulder seats are way more comfortable on longer trips then the lower shouldered seats.

Regular cab seats do not recline.
Regular cab seats suck.
Do not ride in a regular cab because a regular cab will hurt your back.
I'm on board now, I know when I'm beat.
I think some of you guys are missing the point.
When you are big as a St. Louis line backer, having the seat back doesn't look like that picture at all.
I don't look all Ghetto fabulous. I can't see out my back seat window.
You look normal because your body is proportionate to the rest of the seat/vehicle.
A normal guy who is 5'10-6'0 does not have problems with most vehicles.
I do know that the seat does recline in a reg cab, but it is not very far for me, that doesn't mean it doesn't work for you.
I can also tell you that a reg cab is too small for me, not only am I tall, I am broad and big framed.
Same reason I hated being commanders driver when I was in the Army, frigging hummers were crammed like a can of tuna, especially when up armored and crammed with equipment.
I do know the newer reg cab trucks have more room than the older ones if that's the case, I've only been in the 90's to 03 generations. They definitely do not have enough recline room, for sure.
