Yikes! ...and you get Killer Bee's in your area! Better make sure that's not what they are, especially for the kiddies in the neighborhood.

Oh. Just saw this. Perhaps they're not Killers then? I wouldn't be too sure with just a small pellet/paint ball to determine that, though.

Bees are disappearing at an alarming rate, so if they can be left alone for a short period that would be a good thing. I own a pest Control company in St. Louis and am a member if the International Pest Control Operators Network www.ipconetwork.org and we have a member in the Dallas area. If you need a Pro give Roland at All Gone Services a call.

I have seen more bees around here than ever in the last year. We usually just shoot them down with a shotgun, but that might not work in a residental nigborhood, lol.

If they are not hurting you leave them alone. Without bees we all will starve.

I was going to post that they are disappearing very quickly and to leave them alone in the short term if feasible. Is there a specific service that he can call to come investigate? Extension Office? Local bee keeper?

I think they must've been Killers. Shines hasn't replied in a while.

"The sudden mysterious losses are highlighting the critical link that honeybees play in the long chain that gets fruit and vegetables to supermarkets and dinner tables across the country."

We need the industrious Bee!

Leave them alone. Bees are highly beneficial.

Maybe they carried Shines off to their hive. Naw, they aren't that beneficial!
