Anyone ever used a broker to sell a car or truck?
My truck is for sale on autotrader and I keep getting calls from people that work for brokerage companies that "have people that may be intersted in purchasing my truck". Has anyone ever used one of these companies? So far they are all the calls I've been getting and I really need/want to get rid of this truck. I just don't want to get sucked into something and end up having to pay hundreds to sell it. Any info would be appreciated.

What kind of sales pitch would be: "Well, we don't have anybody interested in your truck yet, but give us $500 and we'll see what we can do."

Once they graduate from telemarketing they’ll be selling vacuum cleaners door to door in order to make their Tercel payments.

My first car was a Tercel, but I had no payments. It was a 1984 hatchback that I bought from the neighbor for $450 and re-assembled.

I kept getting those calls too the last time I had something listed in Autotrader, they are annoying as hell.
Just tell them the same thing I told them, "It's great that you have someone interested, you can buy it from me and sell it to them and you can make some money too... Unless you want to purchase it quit calling me"
