I have one. Its a good carry weapon once its "broke in". It takes alot of rounds to get this thing broke in, but once it is It is very reliable. It feels great in my hands, but for some reason it seems to feel like it kicks harder than my kimber 1911. After shooting my PPK, I'll have red marks on the top of my hand between my thumb and trigger finger. It just seems to pinch there, and as such I don't shoot it very often. I'm thinking about getting rid of it actually. Again, the advice of shoot as many as you can before buying comes into play.

Galco makes some very nice holsters for whatever application you need, and affordable.

For the very best CCW holsters you should try Milt Sparks. The Summer Special is what I use for my Springfield .45, it's an inside the waistband holster and it's as comfortable as any such design can be. Extemely high quality. It does cost a bit more but will last a lifetime and is excellently designed.

As far as "pocket-pistols", if it's something you'd truly like to carry in your pocket then I'd look at what CRF said. The Scandium S&W .357, tho I'd load it with 158 LSWCHP +P .38 loads.
That thing only weighs about 12 oz. and all reports I've read say shooting full power .357 loads are just brutal.

It's really not that bad. Mine is the 340M&P, which has the Scandium frame, but a stainless cylinder. So it weighs 13.3 OZ. The PD model has a titanium cylinder, so it's an ounce lighter. I dunno if that extra ounce makes a difference in recoil, but I was pleasantly surprised when I shot mine with .357 loads. I shot blazer 158gr in 357, as well as my carry ammo, which are 125 gr Speer GDHP (Gold Dots). On my last trip, I shot a full box of 357 blazers with no ill effect. Don't get me wrong - it kicks like Chuck Norris, but it's controllable, and it comes back down for follow up shots very quickly. On just my second trip with it, I was able to put 2 shots on target faster than my P7, which weighs 3 times as much.

you have a lot of guns, considering you only have two hands to use them with.

Do you really need all those guns to protect yourself? you could easily have a deathmatch in your front yard with all your buddies with that kind of armoury.

Welcome to the site! Way to dive right in with a profoundly stupid post. Since you are a young buck (just bought your first vehicle, so I'll go out on a limb and assume you're a youngin), I'll entertain your silly question this time:

How many is alot? I'd say when they don't fit in my safe anymore, then that is enough. Then I'll buy a bigger safe, at which time I won't have enough anymore. If called upon to protect myself or my family, then the one that I have on me at that time will be the one that shall be tasked with the job. If I ever need all of them, then either zombies have risen up, or the Commies invaded, in which case, I can only hope I have enough ammo.

Firearms are for protection first and foremost, but an afternoon shooting them at the range is good clean fun. Try it if you haven't. You might get the bug too

Well I have way to many to list I will just say over 40, I don't like to put pics and such of my weapons online because I don't like the fact that everyone that wants to can know what I have. I guess I am just paranoid.
Anyway my regular carry weapon is a xd 40 service model with trijicon sights and custom combat trigger work done. I had no idea that this many people on here liked xd's.

Remington 721 30.06
Marlin 336 30.30
Ruger 10/22
H&K USP 45

I was lucky most of the rifles and shotguns i inhereted when my grandfather passed. My Dad and my other uncles didn't hunt so I got most of his firearms. I had been hunting with my grandfather since i was 10 and we never missed a season. I'm about to get a CHL so next one will be a carry weapon. Anyone had experience with the xd compact? The USP compact just doesn't feel right.

I'm gonna assume that the newbie was saying it was me with a lot of guns..

Thanks!!

I've had and sold or traded many more over the years.. those are only the ones I still have.

"I've got more guns than I need, but not as many as I want.. ".. I think that's the quote.. lol

And actually I saw just today that USFA is making a SAA clone in .38-40.. I never wanted the Italian clones, wanted US made.. and there it is!! www.usfirearms.com

High quality revolvers from all I've heard.. Now I just need to take a big gulp of air and convince myself to spend $900 on a SAA... LOL
