Congrats.....

Now the real work begins -- getting the yard and landscaping up-and-running, putting up blinds, buying furniture, and basically getting the decorating to the point where the wife gets off your back about everything.

Along about the time you get all of these items squared-away and paid off, the maintenance items will start coming at you -- painting the exterior trim and fascia, keeping the weeds out of the yard, the leaky faucet in the kitchen, that piece of trim around the garage door that's starting to take on moisture and deteriorate.

I swear to God, the next house I buy will be a townhouse where all I have to do is walk in and turn on the lights, while someone else has to worry about all the BS.......
