Stupid teenageers

On my way home from work last night I was coming down the residential street that takes me to my road. It was about midnight and there were cars lining both sides of the street... oh, well people have parties on Saturday nights. There was a group of maybe 5-6 indivguals (about 17-18 years old) standing in the middle of the roadway blocking me from getting by. I came to a stop and waited until they noticed me there, but after a little bit decided to honk softly (you know, the little quick honk that doesn't reach full volume). One of the guys turned around, put his arms up and started shouting things at me. He was clearly drunk and upset that I wanted to drive down the street. The other people moved out of the way and I started to make my way past the group and this young man decided to punch the side of my truck. He hit the left rear bedside and left knuckle indents in it. I called the police upon reaching home to report the activity. Unfortunately the involved had split before the officers arrived.

I woke up this morning and found my truck had been keyed on both sides and the hood. I am only 23 myself, but I can't remember doing those things as a teen. The thought of vandilizing things never appealed to me. I am not a happy camper... now I have to pay $100 deductable to have my truck repaired. $100 that should never have to be paid out for stupidity like theirs.

Even if that punk was drunk, he's still doesn't have any respect and lacks in the moral dept. Hitting a total strangers vehicle while they're in/driving it, he's lucky he didn't get hurt if you know what I mean.

I'd be going over to that house or at least keeping an eye on it.

If you had a camera {cellphone type are just fine}, click a quick pic of the goofball when he hit your truck and turn it over. The PD loves to have pics of the perps...makes their life much easier.

Does not do you any good now, but for the next time....

I had that happen a few years ago in high school...3 of my buddies and I had jsut gotten finshed playing baseball. Kid threw his nice expensive BMX stunt bike into the road to block us. He came up to my window, took a swing at me and missed. For some reason I didnt get the urge to beat this kids a$$, I just let off the break and floored it. His bike made some hideous sounds as it was passing underneath my truck. I looked back after I had run over it and I had broken it in 2...haha.

Good luck getting your truck fixed.

Ahhh I can't wait to have a concealed permit. I would have a 12ga pump action in the truck and get out and rack it. Then if he runs catch up and hit him with the butt of the gun, then with him on the ground I would put my foot on his neck and hold him down at gunpoint while calling the cops

If that's illegal I'm going to put a big pipe under my seat then have a big knife as backup

I probably would have waited up with a 12ga and rack it if they showed up. That sound is scary as Heck!

Once in high school a buddy and I were cruisin a parking lot when some guy that had an issue with my bud ran toward my car to hit him. All we were doing was looking for a race, or a couple of sweeties to spend some time with. Anyway, when he swung my bud grabbed his arm and I hit the gas hard. We dragged that clown about 100 feet then lost him against a garbage can. I look back on that now as a dumb thing to do. At 16 it was the funniest **** in the world. I never saw the guy after that, but looked out for him. I heard he was pretty busted up from it all......

Yeah if i ever heard a 12GA rack id just be like im sorry sir im soooo sorry... and id be like heres some money sorry for breaking ur window. haha. mines at the end of my bed uncased with a Slug right next to it with a box of 5 slugs at the other end. then i got a mousin nagant cased at the end of the bed with a clip ready to go! but i think just the rackin of a 12Ga would scare them away.

That's why it's good for home defense also because just the racking alone should make the intruder **** their pants. Let alone the shot that you can get from a 12ga

haha yeah. just the thought of knowing a 1oz chunk of lead flying at 1,200 FPS is about to come your way has a way of chaging your mind.. i got a remington 870 with only a 20" Barrel my buddys dad calls it a "Hallway gun" i love that gun and because the barrel is so short its SOOO loud.. We had a car stolen out of my driveway but i wasnt home... And no alarm but if i ever hear my truck alarm go off. im grabing that one round putting it in and then walkin out side racking and sayin "You might wanna think twice about that" *12Ga racking* "You might wanna think fast!" But i donno if i could pull the trigger... if they were in my house thats a diff. story im gonna blast someone! but for my truck i donno if could..

I see you go to Michigan state?? are you up here right now? im lookin for some place to hang out! i got my F-150 up here but im in no shape to drive right now

I get a nice scary sound every time I pull the slide on my .40 S&W.
It's alot easier to grab that bad boy than a shotgun in a hurry. That's why I traded mine in.
