I thought O' Bama was an Irishman from Alabama! Wonder if He'll do an Irish jig on St. Paddy's Day?

I can't understand how people can overlook this fact.

Hillary or Obama= two steps back. I guess that's what we get if that's what the majority wants.

It's funny how a portion of the population is treating this election year like a bad divorce. Bush is the hated ex.

Cut off your nose to spite your face.

I didn't see a great deal of experience or accomplishments on "W's" resume before the Oval Office, either.

He's greatly misunderestimated.
At least in Vietnam, Bush had an exit strategy.

The economy is falling because once again the cost of living is exceeding the income of the people. Middle class America does not have an average income of $400,000 so why is a piece of ***** house in the ghetto worth that much? I see these row houses and town homes built in 1978 with no updates on the DIY and home channels all the time. These people are flipping these places that in shambles were being valued at $250,000!!!! What the hell is that all about? A three bedroom 1600 square foot piece of $h|t. Shame on the real estate appraisers.

Lending institutions are crashing left and right. On my street alone there are 5 fore sale signs and my brand new 2000 square foot home was purchased for $121,900 3 years ago. Tile, kitchen island, all the appliances (except fridge) garage, gas and electric 3 bedroom 2.5 bath with game room. Lending institutions make the practice of giving interest only loans on high dollar houses to people working at McDonalds and other low wage earning positions...what did they think was going to happen? Pure greed, get in and get out and screw everyone else.

People are proud of the value of their house and they borrow money against it. They buy the house for $100,000, it appreciates to $300,00 but they are paying on the $100,000 mortgage. The time comes to move but they can't afford to because real estate speculation has made it impossible to afford another house, AND ITS THE EXACT SAME PIECE OF $H|T THEY ALREADY HAVE!

The economy has tanked because of greed. It has tanked because once again the ruling class has fallen out of touch with the working class. Exorbitant salaries are being paid to law makers on the hill that spend less than 100 days a year on the job, and they get nothing done at that other than to attach riders to compensate their already over inflated salaries.

Is there anyway the entire population can give the Government the finger?

It is time to overthrow.......
Call the Militias and sign me up.

If you did some research, you would see the forclosure percentage is 1%. That is hardly a crisis. Here in Seattle there was a study and it showed that the reason for the cost of housing to skyrocket in the last 10 years was because of county taxes and fees. Not because of greed. Studies also show that the income of everyone is rising. It is not going down as you say. The economy has not tanked yet. There was still positive growth last quarter. The definition most have for recesion is two straight quarters of negitive growth. That hasn't happened. Energy costs are the biggest problem. The democrats won't allow new oil wells to be drilled, and won't allow more refineries to be built. That and the rediculas, retarded, and down right stupid idea that man is somehow causeing the suposed global warming is enough to make the uninformed to panic. I do agree with you that the congress has it way to good. They need to pay health care like we do, and shouldn't get a retirement check until they earned it.

I don't know about you, but I believe that the experience one gets running a state more closely resembles the job of the presidency than being a social activist and a one term senator.

I don't care what party they are from, I believe that someone who has worked with budgets, and has managed the many agencies and has delegated the tasks necessary to have a state function is more adept at running the entire country than someone who's job is to debate issues for the express purpose of compromise.

People can say all they want about the job the George W. Bush has done. In fact I'll be right with you on certain things. I give him credit for his conviction. You can call it stupitidy if you want but in the world that I live in, perseverance is an admirable trait.

I believe that government is inherently corrupt. I think that politicians in congress are more likely to take advantage of the people that elect them than state and local officials.

Obama's pastor said this:
We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians
Any pastor who "preaches against Israel" will be condemned. My God, "The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers (Acts 3:13)," gave Israel to His children. He did not give it to the Palestinians...

Jeremiah Wright does not teach the Truth... The state of Israel only protects itself from "Radical Muslim Terrorist", and this freak (Obamas pastor) sides with the PLO?

I know that I will get flamed for posting this...but Chris may be the only guy to back me up on the Truth..

That's pretty much the way I see it. But we have to choose.

McCain is one choice. We know his record. This isn't his first time at this. We already know of his twenty plus years in the military and his twenty plus years in the senate. He certianly isn't ideal, and I didn't take part in securing his nomination.

So the other choice will be either a social activist one term senator who's charisma seems to make up for his utter lack of practicle experiance or a senator in her second term who was sucessful as first lady at tolerating her husbands infidelity. She claims thirty-five years of experiance but has yet to reveal what that experiance was.

Screwed? Pretty much.
