Badneck is a combo of a badass/redneck. Are you a badneck?

2. Window stickers (hunting, Calvin pissing, naked lady silhouette, etc.)
3. Mods, Mods, Mods.
4. CD selection includes: Ozzy Osbourne, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Nickelback, Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney.
5. Cowboy hat AND baseball cap on your dash.
6. Empty beer cans in the box.
7. Aftermarket, large tires.
8. Lift kit.
9. YOU DRIVE AN F-150!!!!

 

Got 'em all covered except for #2, and only have a baseball cap though on the dash in #5 though. Do I still qualify as a Badneck?

 

i got a baseball cap but no cowboy hat how ever

i do have an Arrow over my antena

And a turkey Feather on the inside of my windsheild wegde in my remote start antena

So i think that makes up for it... I got garth brooks... and metallica!!! all of there CD's ...illgealy made just to **** of lars!! haha I had the new kid rock CD but it broke in half when i was doing my headers... a wrench landed on it... You might be a red nex if your CD breaks when your doing headers because you throw a wrench at it

 

That's me for sure! I fit them all except for #1 - I have the single magnaflow exhaust. And I clean out all of the weekend beer cans every Sunday afternoon. Oh, and my cowboy hats are pretty much permanently hung up. I don't rope anymore and usually when I ride I just where a regular ball cap.

Kenny chesney come on now. He shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence with them. Not saying that he isn't good because I do like a few of his songs but he is far from bada$$ or redneck. Maybe throw Hank Jr. or George strait in there in place of kenny chesney. And I guess i'm not a Bada$$ or redneck, i'm just a regular ole' country boy.

 

Has anyone noticed when driving around with empty cans in the box, when you get up to about 80 mph on the interstate, they decided to randomly take flight and fly straight up out of the back of the truck.

But yea, I qualify for all of those except the Cowboy hat, but do have my Alpinestars hat on most of the time in the truck.

 

I never noticed it until 100 MPH... LOL. And Kenny Cheesey makes you a redneck? LOL. Wow. I have everything on that list, although I don't keep the hat on my dashboard. It'd annoy the hell out of me. Oh, and no F-150...

 

yeah kenny chesney shouldnt be in there. I mean hes good but he dont make anyone qualify for being badass. I guess i will call myself a badneck in spirit even if i dont have a truck to do all that stuff to . Ill do all those things to a frontier if i get one .

The point is a Badneck is a combination/wanna-be Badass & Redneck. It may be a term of endearment for some or a joke for others. You may have one or many of these features but the quantity determines how close to a Badneck that you are. I don't listen to Chesney or any of the newer country but I do fall into a lot of the other categories. I'm close to a Badneck, but not quite.

LOL. I was reading this thread and thought it was new. Then I saw my reply and was like, wait a second, I dont remember saying this. I guess the "if I get a frontier" thing was a clue that it wasnt too recent.

 

To answer your question there is no expiration date on forums, but there is on Threads...and when is that time you might ask? Well a random GD thread that hasn't been replied to for 2 years might be a good starting point huh?
