It isn't any different, and anyone else who brings up thread like this catches fire for it just the same as you are. Also, people don't usually write Bump on a 2 year old thread about being a badneck, normally it's for a current matter that needs attention as soon as possible. I myself never write bump on a thread as i feel it's kind of pointless but as long as there is a good reason for it i don't see a big problem with it...this instance not being one of those good reasons. In any case i never asked you to apologize, I just wanted to get it across that you brought back a 2 year old thread, for no apparent reason...and i might add that you responded to someones statement that was 2 years old, a little late don't you think?

It was started by him way back when so I think he was going through his old threads trying to find one to relive some of the "glory days"

I heard a couple people saying Badneck at a local auto store & I thought it was funny because a buddy and I had made it up a couple years ago but weren't using it much anymore. So I searched the forum for "Badneck", and found my old thread. I guess I wanted to bring it up again to get new discussion by others on it. I have been informed by a couple people that the way I did it is wrong. Maybe I should have started a new thread without the old discussion instead of using the old one. I may have to read up on proper etiquette of forums & thread development. Not sure where I can get this guide but I'm sure there are a couple guys that can let me know.

You didn't start the word BadNeck I remember my neighbor calling my other neighbor a BadNeck over 10 years ago.

Okay, I didn't make it up! Whatever! We had never heard it before we started using it and I'm wishing I would have never brought it up. I wasn't giving my buddy the rights to "badneck", I'm sorry for making you think it was his. I'm guessing the words Bad & Neck have been put together many times before we were using it.
