Vasectomy
The urologists did the "Big V" onFridays. I asked him when he was gong to get started---he said, "Hell I am almost done!" I fet like a got a good kick in the nuts that afternoon---Saturday was mild discomfort, and I was back jogging three miles on Tuesday...left those darn things somewhere in the Cleveland Metroparks...

My thoughts--overall, not a big deal at all, and much easier than what would go on with a woman.

My thoughts exactly. When our last daughter was born my wife was going to "tie her tubes" I told her to not bother. I would get the V as it was less invasive.

J-150,
You seem well informed on the issue.
The amount of pain and recovery period will vary depending on the doctor and the patient. The duration is usually between a couple of days and a week.
Ask your doctor about his track record in regard to recovery.
It is a lot less evasive for the man rather than the woman.
After our last child, my wife had further surgury and I didn't want to pile this on her too.
You're doing the right thing but, you already know that.

One can only do so much reading on the subject. I'm at the point where I needed some real life feedback.
