Don't get me wrong, superchargers and turbos have their place, but- if I could get a car with 500 NA HP, or one with 600 that was supercharged or turbo'd, I'll take the NA HP.
No whine (Supercharger) and no lag (turbo).

That whine really turned me off with the Lightning... I wanna hear the pipes, not the engine..
Probably reason #1 why I didn't buy the 2000 L or the 2003...
I was this close to getting the 2003 in Sonic blue, but the rims were a turn off (they'd changed them) and I thought as much as I liked it, I'd probably get sick of that blue after a few months. But, next to he blue, black, white, red and silver looked plain.
So, I goy another Expy instead.

That's a sweet car. My cousin had an Impala like that, with probablt 500 HP less,
