2008 Dodge Challenger!!! Today is the day!
sweet i like it. I dont like the price, but i like it. Its a lot smaller than i expected it to be. But then again, the old one wasnt that big either. Definitly looks great and i bet it will be turning heads and blowing away a lot of the competition being roushcharged soon.. I wonder how they came to $40,000 for that car tho... i woulda expected low 30s..
I'll be working at a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Nissan dealership as of next week. I am sure I'll get to see it in person before everyone else. I'll be sure to take pics and post a driving impression.

1. i assumed that a non-srt model will be available at a later date, and i imagined it would have the 5.7L hemi
2. with that kind of advertised power, the market may overlap that of the base-model corvette (i also imagine the camaro, if it's ever produced, will fall in this price-point as well, equipped with the ls engine)
again, just some thoughts on the price point...i also think it would be nice if it's not offered with a smaller engine so that when i see one, there's no doubt what it is
2008 Chalanger
They are not building any chalenger's yet ,there is one in the plant but it is covered up.don't know when they will be starting production, this new owner is not too favorable on these types of vehicles.I did hear they picked up about 40,000 orders from the auto show. With the dropping of the third shift at end of Feburary this could be held off for a long time,It is a base line product of about 35000 units and doesn't mean much to a plant running 72 cars an hour. After 2 yrs. of production there won't be many orders to build, but we are all hoping. The only thing I don't like about it is the "B" post, it's not a hardtop as was the orrigional.

Where did you heat this? Do you work at a dodge plant? In the thread i posted about roush working on challengers, there are 2 production models sitting outside in the picture. I recall MONTHS, like over half a year ago, spy shots being released from someone at a dodge plant, pics of the body shell..
