You can think what you want about police officers but the simple fact remains, in a world without law enforcement there would be no peace. I will be the first to admit there are SOME bad cops but in no way are they the majority. Why are there bad cops? Because cops are humans and NO human is perfect. There are also bad dentists, bad doctors, bad firemen, bad politicians, bad teachers blah blah blah blah. Get over yourself.

This is why I can take the bad with the Good. When you need em they come.
Just the road carnage/results of crime/domestic violence they see day in and day out has to have some effect and they daily deal with people who are often having the worst day of their lives. As in society there are probably 90% good and 10% bad in a pressure/judgement situation.
I always try to avoid personal interaction so they can catch some real criminals. I treat them all with respect cause no ammount of money could make me want to do what they do day in, day out.
I do hate the "get on the ground" line to innocents when they are not sure.
it all boils down to this. a cop thinks he has the right to do what ever he wants to do. trust me, i have a family member that is a cop. you should hear some of the stuff he tells me about some of the guys on his unit does to the people just because they are going 5-8 mph over the limit. makes me want to beat the %$@# out of one of them if they pulled that #^%# on me. i have already gone to jail for one cop telling the judge that i refused and ran from him when i didn't. and now, he is no longer a cop. why, because he lied and no way of saying that i did do those things, but i did. after the judge seen what i had, after my second hearing, released me and apploigized for what the cop did. and now, he is no longer able to get a job with the law enforcement. never trust no one. thats my saying on this.
