Well, this is true.....with that being said, I have grown to like the other forum more.

 

Normally, I wouldn't care. But, Dave got banned, but Mattineer has been back in about five or six different forms, and he's still here...

The system is broken.

 

All systems are flawed. I figure this site is free so Im not gonna get upset if they dont want me posting something. With that being said, I say we stick it to the man!!!!

 

Dave isn't actually "banned" is he? It says his status is "suspended".... Soooo he will be back, right? What am I missing here?

 

Oh, nothing's perfect, no disagreement there. However, I'd much rather have Dave around than Mattineer.

 

Amen. Love Dave or hate Dave, but you know who he is and he has made you laugh atleast once. Mattinqueer treats this place like a revolving door and ***** happens...

 

I'll take both. Mattineers threads were entertaining, at least to me, but hey, I laugh at fat people.

 

He will be back in a month... Well after this I'm not sure if he will even bother coming back

 

I dunno. Moderators/admins can make your member title say anything they want it to. At another forum I frequent, "suspended" usually means a little time out, and they'll be back later. It may be different here.

Ahhh, thanks for clearing that up. I've seen other members here with the "banned" status, although those accounts are usually spammers or un-wanted sales vendors. Anyway, it is a shame if he is "banned" because some of his threads made for good reading during slow times at work. I would hope he is just suspended. As a GD "lurker" I've seen much worse threads were some members were more "banned" worthy.

I don't exactly understand why everyone's getting so butt hurt about a member getting banned, and leaving won't exactly cause sleepless nights to management around here.

I don't even know the exact terms of why the dude got canned.

Here's my two cents though - given that a certain member from Ohio has been banned repeatedly and is still allowed back, even after a few racist flames were thrown from him for his last trip to the curb (which were just as bad if not worse than whatever Dave's done), I strongly disagree with Dave getting the ax, and have little to no faith in the powers-that-be around here. Nothing personal, it's just the internet and all, but I am a little disappointed. Honestly, I think I've done and said far worse than what Dave's done around here, and I'm still here, so I dunno. It's been a strange day or two on F150online.
