If all else fails you'll always have Parcells.

We need a whole lot of players. I give it three years and we'll be back on our feet.

Ya we had a horrible coach and a bad team don't get me wrong but like Rockpick said we were stricken with injuries. Ronnie was having one heckuva season and then Ricky makes his return and has someone STOMP on his shoulder. That right there was a dirty play if I have ever saw one. But our secondary is absolutely H-O-R-R-R-I-B-L-E! Drafting Glenn Dorsey would be a good idea but I wish we were a few picks down like in the 4th or 5th slot so we could get James Laurinaitis. This kid is amazing. Another good thing is hopefully James Hardy (WR for Indiana) doesn't go in the first round like he is predicted. Hopefully miaimi can get him with the second pick! 6'7 can ran, jump, catch with the best of them! This kid is the next Randy Moss fo sho! Could you imagine a tendom of James Hardy, Marty Booker, and then Ted Ginn in the slot! I mean how does a 6'0 corner cover a 6'7 reciever with a 40'+ verticle? Its easy you cant! Plus I have heard rumors of Parcells possibly talkin Keyshawn out of retirement. Even if he doesn't come out of retirement and gets Keyshawn on the sidelines as a recievers coach or somethin it would be huge!! I'm interested to see what happens once April rolls around.

It was people like Ricky Williams, Jr. Seau, Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas that made the team pretty good. But now they are all falling apart, just like the team it self. Seau isnt even on the Dolphins any more

They didn't make us good they made us average. i think our linebackers are the only bright spot on the defensive side of the ball. When you go 3-4 you have Jason Taylor pretty much playing stand up DE but then you got Porter, Thomas and Crowder. I really like Crowder I think give him another year and he could turn himself into a very good Outside Linebacker. Really the ones we should have never let go was like Patrick Surtain, Sam Madison, T-Buck, and O-GUN! I totally forgot about O-Gun until now! Thats what another bonehead move. Imagine how much better our D would be if we had O-gun and Taylor on the line, Thomas, Porter, and Crowder at Linebacker and then Surtain and Madison in the secondary. Thats tenacious there. I don't know I hope John Beck can show something next year and get the offense rolling somewhat.

I can't believe we got rid of Wes Welker though ... and what about Junior !? He sucked when he was with us, completely. Now he's on the Patriots and he's awesome. That right there tells you we need better coaches so hopefully we can get something rolling with all of the new blood.

Ya Welker we didn't really give him a chance to be a reciever. He was a good punt and kick returner. But idk there has been so many bone head moves we have made in the past 5 years. The only bright spots in our drafts have been what Ronnie Brown and Channing Crowder? I mean heck Saban's draft was actually pretty good but Cameron's and Wanny's drafts have been nothing special. Like I said hopefully we can get Glenn Dorsey and James Hardy with our first two picks.

Great article... It's amazing how things like that happen behind closed doors. I always felt Cam Cameron was kinda "soft". Not that he wasn't physically demanding of his players, but more that (like the artilce stated) he never exerted his authority or showed much leadership. I am a firm believer that some people are natural born leaders and other's were meant to be assistants.

Good read, I knew the players didn't want to play for him. I'm kind of surprised it took this long for this article to come out.

Concurred 110%, Copper. It sounds as though some of the players hit the nail on the head using words like 'spineless' and others. From the sounds of it, he wasn't meant to lead the team.

To me, as a Phish fan, it was very interesting to hear what lead up to Traylor's dismissal from the team as I had really wondered if the story that had leaked to the media was really the case.

I had heard/read earlier rumors about Keyshaun getting yanked off of the ESPN chair and put back in to commission -- to me, that's *very* interesting as we traded off our #1 reciever (Chris Chambers).

The bottom line here is that the team is barebones right now - with several players on the verge of hanging up their helmets and taking a seat at the NBC Sports desk (read: Jason Taylor doing the half-time show during one of the wildcard games this weekend -- that really freaks me out -- even worse, he was pretty good). We're going to need to snag good players in this draft on BOTH sides of the ball...

Give the Tuna 3 or 4 years... maybe we'll be back in the playoffs.
