Monster Jam
I took the family .. we had a blast. Tickets are a great value. Everyone invloved with the show is great. I would highly recommend it. My wife even enjoyed herself.
The venue, on the other hand. someone needs to slap the reliant stadium people up side the head.
4 bottles of water, 4 hot dogs. 39 freaking dollars.
what a rip off the food was. We still had a blast though.

maximum destruction made the show.
the 4 wheeler race was like wrestling on 4 wheels.
on a sad note, a guy right by us had a heart attack, i dont think he made it.

that sucks. i got there at around 7. then waited in line for about 20 minutes to get tickets. by the time i made it to my seat it had already started. we missed grave digger get disqualified.
i got to the ticket line, waited 30 minutes to be told that it was standing room only. (cant believe it sold out)
found a scalper, paid $30 a seat and the seats were awsome. we missed the first 30 minutes.
does this event typically sale-out?

Yes. they almost always sell out .. and there is usually 20k or so of walk up ticket sales
Traffic is horrible for the shows as well. The best way is to get Pit party passes and get there really early. The pit party runs from 3:00 to 5:00, and allows you to walk around on the floor, and meet the drivers, and take pictures with the trucks and drivers.
We got the the stadium about 2:30. Went inside about 3:15, walked around and took pictures with the kids and the trucks and drivers, got some autographs, then left the floor about 4:30 or so and got some food.
Then we went to our seats, and watched them clear the floor and start setting things up .. pretty cool, and it takes the stress off of fighting the crowds at 7:00.
The start of the show is one of the best things, because all of the trucks are out running and jumping at the same time .. Loud as hell.
I posted some more of my pictures on Webshots ..
