Firefighter/Medic here. EMT's are basic life support. Paramedic's can do quite a bit more. IV's, medication administration and so on. All and all its about another full year of school to be a medic.

That guy has zero posts according to the little post counter, lol

I am a junior in high school, lol. But during the summer I work for the technology department in the school district, along with the science department. Very soon I will either have a job at the verizon place, or the new ATV shop. However, as soon as I graduate I plan on going to get my engineering degree (dunno what field yet) and then continue on with school and get a law degree. $$$$

Why does my post count matter? Does it make me less of a man than you if my post count is lower?

Personal Banker... Great career path with obvious potential for continual growth and high salaries. Working for a banking pretty much guarantees you amazing benefits like 401k + health and vision for your family.

No, but just kinda funny that you only post in the general discussion forum. Most of us came here to post about trucks....

I appreciate all that you guys post about trucks, it has helped me a lot. I only post in th GD forum because I have nothing intelligent to add to the other forums, not that my posts here are all that intelligent.

Thanks a bunch!
I just turned 41 this past Nov and have been retired for over two years after 21 years of faithful service in our magnificent United States Air Force. My wife just turned 43 this past Sep and she has been retired for more than one year after 23 years in the USAF. We are now living our dream, not working for anyone, no stress, happy, raising a 4 year old, and doing whatever we want and can afford daily. Yes we could have worked another 20 years and retired from a second job, received two retirement incomes then Social Security, but why? Why do people work more than half their lives then when they retire, they think about all the things they missed while working. We are not going to miss anything our 4 year old has to offer.

Not everyone can retire from the service after 20 years of service and not have to work afterwards. In fact, a very high percent must seek other employment to survive. We both could have stayed in the USAF for a few more years to come but decided it was time to retire. It took a lot of planning, not getting too far into debt, and sacrificing. We made our minds that once we retired, we would only work for oursevles, if we wanted to. Well, we have not started up the business yet because we are having too much fun not working. It is nice to have that decision. I am not saying the military is for you, it is not for everyone, but whatever you decide to do, make sure you can retire completely when it is your time.

Your Post count does not matter. Some forget that when they first started it was zero also. When you need help, you come post. If you can give help, you come post; no problem with that from me.
