Um, I have in-laws down there, but ain't never lived there. I actually knew the answer to yellow rose of Texas, and where the Riverwalk is, but I was pretty much clueless on all the others... except my age, gender, and such... (BTW, shroomie, were those the ones you had trouble with?)

How many know the source of the name, Yellow Rose of Texas? She was a muletto (yellow skinned) woman that was a mistress to Sam Houston. She slipped into the Mexican Army camp, and spied on Santa Anna for Houston. I don't remember her name, but the song was written about her.
