It's boots, buy what you like.

People like the buzzwords, but it's still just a boot.

I wanted to try this here before I post a new thread if possible, "post pics of the best press you've done". I dont have any yet but I can give my uniforms an awesome press.

I cannot wear the oaks b/c of the symbol. Every base I've been on, riley, gordon, etc doesn't allow the use of equipment with logos. They sell oaks in the PX all the time, people buy them left and right. GC of riley banned all boots with sneaker like appearance. I.E No rubber that comes over the toe like the oaks. The sneaker type rubber sole. The way they lace. You get the pic.

Are you all talking about the Oakely Assaults 6in, or 8in? I don't really like the way the 6in look but I'd love to get a pair of the taller 8in boots in a 10.5 or 11.

The ones they sell arent the actual military issue version since they have that gold oakley symbol on them. The ones i have been issued just have a small imprint of the oakley symbol that is barely visible to the eye.

But since you said that the boss outlawed anything that looks like them period i guess your skrewed........so much for functionality

And about the pressing of uniforms, its 2007, nobody presses uniforms anymore
