I was never impressed with Chan Gailey at GT. When they hired him there was somebody else (cannot remember who) that deserved it more than him. When they extended his contract two years ago I was shocked. Yes, he never had a losing season at GT... but he never had a team finish in the top 25. They backed into the ACC Championship game last year, and ended up finishing the season with 5 loses. His teams never looked like they gave 100% from game to game. They would beat a top 25 team only to lose the next week to a no-name or struggling school. It was mediocrity at it's best!!!

Glad to see them pull the plug on him, but they threw a bunch of money away in the process by signing that extension.

 

Osborne finds interim head coach - himself

This is awesome! So does he get paid for being the AD and the head coach?

Maybe we need to fire Tim Weiser and bring in Snyder as interim AD. Hmmmm.......

 

Just so he can recruit. PLUS... When he does hire Bo, he can also make visits to the same players...
