As a Tigers fan, I have to say that this year's title game is shaping up to be like last year's, only it's reversed. Everyone is saying that the game is LSU's to lose, and that OSU is overrated. I sincerely hope that Les can somehow insulate his guys from this crap as much as possible. Unfortunately, there are a few guys on the team that might let it get to their heads. That said, if LSU can keep their mistakes (READ: penalties) down, and find a way to keep OSU's defense off guard (READ: use Perrilloux), then they just might be victorious come 11:30 p.m. on January 7th.

We get Clemson in the Chicken-fillet Bowl. That'll be a good game.

I don't think he's as two-faced as Satan was before going to Bama. I hope he stays, though!
Les said almost the exact same thing when asked if he was leaving OSU for LSU.

If Michigan hires a coach in the next week or two, then Les is staying .. but if it gets close to Christmas, and Michigan is still without a coach ....

Les will say and do anything he thinks is necessary to not blow his shot at winning the MNC.

Oh yea, it's Buckeyes. Go Bucks!

I know this is kicking a man while he's down but I guess I'm just a jerk like that... WHO SUCKS NOW?? How over rated is the SEC. Seems like OSU is everything you accussed LSU of and the Big 10 is everything you accused the SEC of!!
Big 10 bowl record 3W 5L
SEC Bowl record 7W 2L
I'd say the Big 10 should bone up a little in the football department!!

Lets look a little closer at the bowl schedule...
Big 10 "Home" games: 0
SEC "Home" games: 5

how about if we schedule some of these big bowl games up north and see how the SEC does.

Yes, I am an Ohio State Alumni and Fan. But that is not where this comment is coming from. I think there needs to be something done about playing the big bowl games (especially the championship games) in the home state of one of the teams. How is this an "even field" to play on??? A majority of the tickets (I think 55-60%) go to the season ticket holders for the bowl game stadium. Who do you suppose all these people are going to cheer for?

Just my little rant.

And don't forget - this was a rebuilding year for Ohio State. We were preseason expected to finish third in the Big Ten. This was still a great year for Ohio State.

Ah... Where have we heard that before. Oh yea.. Nebraska playing Miami on it's home field all those years. Ain't gonna happen. People want warm weather to sit on their butts, or a dome. The dome games up north never get the big ones (okay, Super Bowl in Detroit). However, the Superdome was not LSU's home field. On tv, the crowd looked pretty even. The noise was just about even for both teams. OSU got smoked, own up to it.

Yeah LSU looked real good last night, i thought osu would put up more of a fight in the beginning after jumping to a 10-0 lead but i guess the tigers were too much. Congrats LSU!

Michigan "smoked" us by a touch down.

But than again we really "smoked" you by how many points in the National Championship game last year?
