Playoff, playoff, playoff!! Noone wants a playoff system worse than the SEC. That's the only way to prove the conference with the best teams.

I'd like to see a NCAA division 1 playoff system, but it would take six months to complete!

Top 6 or eight teams go to a playoff. The rest of the teams go to bowls. Done deal.

That wouldn't be fair, especially if it's BCS picked. The BCS is a joke. Who cares about strength of schedule. A loss is a loss, the undefeated teams should be on top.

I have to wonder if Bo Pellini looked at the game film of the Arkansas-Tennessee game. Tennessee had McFadden caged the entire game. That said, had LSU scored a TD on either of its first two possessions, the outcome likely would have been different. Hit them hard early and often, the saying goes.

That said, how the heck did they let Hillis get wide-@$$ open on a 4th and 10 that could have ended the 1st OT with a win for them? At least they can still win the SEC and go to the Sugar Bowl. I do fear, however, that Les Miles' mind was just made up as far as Michigan goes.

I predict he'll win the SEC, and then Michigan will begin the wooing process. Two weeks before the Sugar Bowl, he'll leave LSU for Michigan. Too much valuable recruiting time in December to be lost staying with LSU for only a Sugar Bowl victory.

Thanks for the 3 consecutive 10-win seasons, Les. You've kept us in the winning tradition.

I caught the end and thought they were going to come back to win it. It just proves that any team on any day can beat any team.

PS: SEC is the best conference in the Nation. Sorry guys.

When your team has a schedule half as tough as LSU's...then come back and tell me LSU sucks.

I thought they were the Bucs not the Bucks? And Illinois was unranked when they beat Ohio St. They got in AFTER they beat them. And like everyone else said, the SEC is the best conference in college football.

eh, meh, i wouldn't be so sure. There are a lot of good teams in the SEC, but the PAC10 is loaded as well. Oregon, USC, CAL, UCLA, Arizona St etc.

Both conferences are deep. I dunno if i could say one is comfortably better then the other.

The SEC is Soooo Over Rated. LSU just proved it.

Penn State (I was there), Wisconsin, Michigan State, Michigan in the Big House. That's a Schedule!

Oh yea, it's Buckeyes. Go Bucks!

LSU had 4 first rounders last year, and will probably have 4 first rounders again this year. The SEC had the most NFL draft picks last year and will probably have the most again this year. Overrated? The SEC is just too tough. How often do you see a team in the NFL go undefeated?

So the whole conference is over rated just because LSU lost? You don't make any sense when you are talking about this. All in conference games are going to be tough, everyone knows that. But the list of teams you just put down is NOT a tough schedule.
