Firefox and Tor Plug-in. It will look like you have international support.

I'm going to work...I guess my 6 from multiple IPs will help.

Game On.

All I know is the first time I (and I assume we) followed the rules as they were laid out in writing. I voted once for every email address I have. Is there a lawyer in the house??? I think they just discriminated against people with more than one email address.

Don't worry, I will still vote every day. Wouldn't it be funny if we ended up with more at the end than we had now?

Quick question. They said once per day per ip. How would they get an ip from web based mail like gmail or yahoo?

Looks like it might be in your hands now Lord Vader.

If they are just doing email host IP's then I can game on. If they are doing ISP IP, then I'm toast. Unless you have some hints you want to PM a DSL, users with a AC-DHCP provider.....

The only way I know is to disconnect and connect back on and have a chance at grabbing one of the other 4 IP's.... then use a different email service too. But it takes 10 mins for my stupid modem to connect....... Seems like it anyway.....

LMFAO!

You guys crack me up. Instantly when presented with a new challenge we collectively come up with 10 ways to work around it if needed. I think it was probably the other guy from Canada who tied us and then found himself 600+ back, sent an email to the owner of the site. I've spoken with the guy who owns the site and he is a REALLY nice stand-up guy.

I say for now let's do the old fashion one vote per day, per email address. I think the IP deal is meant to block those of us who have multiple email addresses on one IP. For example, I have 9 gmail accounts and three personal accounts. I voted with each one of those yesterday on the same computer within 10 minutes of each other. Each vote went through so I'm assuming that was following the rules.

Let's stick with that plan for now and see where it takes us. If the guy from Canada starts pulling away then let's look into the "Creative" ideas. I don't want to blow him completely out of the water (more then 200 votes) during the next month because I don’t want him emailing the guy again asking for a rule change.

I think it's pretty funny this other guy must have taken it so hard that he had to cry foul and ask for a rule change. Oh well.

Duke

The guy has no idea what he is dealing with. I'll get you a few each day. If you decide we need to turn it up a notch I'll be holding a "Hiding your identity on the Internet" class to allow Matt to unleash his votes again.

The guy will still lose its just how long it takes and how bad of a beating you want him to have.

Sounds good UC I have a nagging feeling the Maggie and Molly guy is going to give up. If he doesn't thought I certainly drop you a line.

Thanks again,

Duke

EDIT: I just want to keep track of the numbers to see if they are changing anything with numbers. For some reason I thought we were higher then 22 today.

Current results:

Lilly and Bubba - Minnesota 78.57% (22)
Brinx - Ontario, Canada 7.14% (2)
Maggie and Molly - Ontario, Canada 14.29% (4)

ODD: I'm right!!! They artifically brought us down from 33 to 22. What the heck is going on here. What's honest about selective vote acceptance? Oh well at least we're winning.

Figured it out. He corrected the vote from 33 to 22 because I did 11 votes today from my one IP address. This is annoying. They are valid email addresses. Looks like this will be a low vote win. However, I still think we'll win easily because I highly doubt the canadian guy will figure out the way around this and will only continue to have his own votes.

Brinx - Ontario, Canada 6.06% (2)
Maggie and Molly - Ontario, Canada 15.15% (5)

I told you, in 3 years since I've been here, countless online polls and votes have come through and I've never known this site to lose.

I never said that any of them was an honest win.

Vader did give me hiding your identity 101 today.
I am confident that if this guy starts to slip up on us again, that together we can smoke him as needed. This time we'll be smarter about it too. I dont think it's going to be a problem though becasue I dont think he has much if any support. I am betting his votes were from him alone and mayeb one or two family. Defintaly nothing like the support you get from the members of this site.
