i always questioned CR methods of rating products... and now they have admited their lack of a statistical process.

That's what I hear, but probably in cities where people actually have money like Hong Kong and Beijing. Imagine some guy pulling up to work in his new Buick Lucerne at his factory making remotes for TV's. Then driving home to his hut in the countryside. Funny thing is, I think the Asian people idolize the American dream but their culture rains on their parade. Ford Mustang's are I think the most popular "If I could get anything" car.

Give em credit, they probably want our designs but the gov't won't allow or taxes the hell out of it. They are probably sick of seeing boring Toyotas, Nissans and Honda's all day.

Ya, they don't bare bones equip these like that anymore, still pretty cheap for a good car.
