Poll: Please stay on topic

Out of curiosity I'd like to ask everyone to participate in a poll.

How many union members here and how many non-union.
Salary (management) Hourly.

So post up whether your a union or non-union worker, management or hourly.
No bashing please.

Here we go.

Pro-Union. Hourly worker $31.90
International association of machinists and aerospace workers ( I.A.M.)
District 751 Seattle Washington
Local lodge officer, Steward.
Employer: Boeing 737 Production.

What field are you in?

Bustin out a measly 22.00 hr

$25.00/hour, salary/commission.

We manufacture numerous types of electric motors, steppers, brushless DC, power, actuators, etc. We sale to many industries such as medical, aerospace, military, and the list goes on. The vast majority of new gas pumps in the last 10 years have our motors inside them for the pumps. Approx. 20% to 30% of our motors are made overseas because we can not afford to make them here and stay competitive. We are a Lean manufacture and have been so for approx. 5 years, which means a young Lean and many more years to go until we really have it right…

I am a Value Stream (product line) manager which is basically a plant manager and manage approx. 65% to 70% of the business. I am thinking this is more information then you were looking for...
