no buddy.. i work for a prop shop in kent.. we happen to be in the same union.. but I get far worse benifits.. I am local 289.. but they don't represent to well.

Local 99, 99-A, 99-C, 99-O, AFL-CIO

Employer= EMCOR Government Services (EGS), Previously before being bought out, Consolidated Engineering Services
Hourly= $29.51 (X2 on 7th day X3 on Holiday)
Pension= $3.75 for every hour paid (worked, sick, vac or OT)
Medical= Family fully paid
4 weeks vacation, 2 weeks of sick leave along with short and long term disability
and a list of a other things to go with it

So yeah, I'm Pro-Union

Yes it is. We have a contract with a local brewery and take care of several of their trucks and trailers. Some of the drivers are very appreciative.

shoot, here... beer is legal tender..... Especially body shops..... a case of beer gets alot of work done....

We've been known to use it as legal tender too, especially in the summer when someone wants a quick a/c charge. Also it helps people get their truck booked in when we already have a full workload.
