Well considering none of us are flying to the moon, you're claim doesn't make much sense. I'll take my bets that most of us will be out mowing the grass or playing softball on Saturday, not flying to the Space Station.

Have had several Revo's, optics are very nice, no argument from me. Yes they made shields for NASA back in the day, like 1975, but guess what? Revo lost that contract to OAKELY in the early 90's.

Not crap. Optics are just as good and with the protection, much better than Revo. If you have a inferiority complex, yes buy the over priced French crap Revo's.

PS, just like Oakley, not all Revo's are polarized. Why pay 400 bucks for a polarized glass lens that can shatter in your eye? No thanks. I'll take the Oakley's for the versatility and safety while hunting, shooting, cycling, skiing, driving etc. Best all around in my book. I currently have 3 pair.

Opinions are well, like a-holes, everyone has them.

When is your trip to space with your overpriced Friend made Revo's that are no longer in "space helmets"???

Support the good ol USA and buy Oakley's. You won't be disappointed.

I am about to buy yet another pair of them.

ShinesTX, shouldn't you be suggesting "wetsanding" over in the care and detailing section?

Expensive sunglasses are to some guys what those expensive purses are to some women.

Personally, there's much better things to spend money on. Save your money and get you some cheap Wal-Mart $10 polarized lenses from the fishing section. Get a pair of "Renegade" shades.. they look good and they're only $12... and polarized.

To each his own though. Good luck on getting a good pair.

Did you get this figured out yet? I'm about due for another pair of Oakleys. In the last 10 years I've had 2 pair. Well, still have both, but ready for something new, and the old spare pair is getting kinda worn out...

BTW, the second pair I got are polarized. I'll never buy another pair that isn't...
