Hi. Long time reader, first time poster.

I found this in a fitness forum.

A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? What would you do if your daughter was in this situation?

If she was 18 and him 24, maybe. I have a one yr old daughter too, I'd be more concerned what type of person he is. (or 'was' if he touched her )

Most states it is illegal, however in some states 16 is the legal age of consent.

As a father of 2 girls and one quiclkly approaching the age of these problems...... I can't in good consious tell them not to do it, because thier mom and I did....... I advise them of why not to...... As a father I will never tell them that they cant see this guy or that guy..... that will only make tehm want to see him and then do it beind my back, once they start keeping secerets then he has the upper hand and can convince them that I am wrong about sex too. I know cause I used that once or twice myself....

 

In Florida if shes 16 and he is under 25 then its not illegal. 16 is too damn young though. That 22 year old is wasting his time.

Im 26 and have slept with my share of 18 yr olds, never once did I think I was wasting my time.

18 is great. They believe what they are told, look great and typicially have low self esteem. What do you look for in a girl>?

 

I'm 19 and I usually shoot for girls that are 21+, but a 16-18 yr old doesn't hurt every once in a while. That's only if they're mature though. I won't mess around with a high school chick that's immature and annoying no matter hot she is or how drunk I am.

 

They are ripe for the picking

 

Maybe I would down in Panama City for Spring Break or when I'm out of town somewhere so I'd never see the girl again, but it just aint worth it to me.
