computer people

i just got done doing a virus scan and this is what i got


what is it

Its nothing. I'm guessing its been awhile since you last ran a full scan (or looked at the logs) and since those files have been updated via service packs and updates it shows they've been changed. Carry on surfing for ****.

That's normal. Those 3 files will always show as "changed" with AVG, mine even shows a 4th, shell32.dll. Click the result overview tab, it should say zero threats found.

i will do a full scan and see what i get. i just bought this laptop used off of ebay. i will let you know what i get.

That was a full scan it did - it says "complete test" - AVG does a complete test once a day by default.

I still wouldn't worry about it. Get a commerical A/V program, that will fix it.

I've been using McAfee for years and years without issue, but the new bad boy on the commercial block are supposed to be these guys: http://www.kaspersky.com/

Your PC doesn't have a virus. I wouldn't worry about that. Do I like "free" anti-virus software? Nope.

I wouldn't worry about those results.

There's nothing wrong with the free version of AVG. Avast is also pretty good.
