Ordered a MF'in computer from them about 3/4 of the way though August. Computer was supposed to be here 2 days ago, which was to long in the first place. Ive been getting home and finding nothing...so now Im a little ticked. Call them up and talk to a fuggin machine that tells me "Oh Im sorry we are gay, your computer is backordered, you might get it on OCTOBER FUGGIN 4TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I cant wait to call tomorrow and rip someones azz.....I dont care if its the fuggin janitors. I would call now but people are sleeping and I have a fealing I would wake them all up

Imma make the fuggers do something for me....send me a nicer computer next day air, some kick *** rebates on something, suck my ****....something like that.

"Award Winning Tech Support" my ***, BTW. I've been using their web based chat thingy, and three times so far they ain't fixed chit.

The first guy, who actually had a pronounceable name (Agent Wilfried), he seemed pretty squared away. He made some adjustments, deleted a bunch of temp files I had no idea I had, and things seemed to work right for a little while. I restarted, and I'm right back where I was - it takes about five minutes to start up, bogs down severely when I have more than one program running at a time, and takes forever to shut down. My Google-fu says that a lot of folks have had hard drives replaced for similar concerns in Latitudes, but whatever.

The second guy I chatted with connected to my Latitude remotely and started messing with things in the msconfig file. He rebooted it remotely, and with this DellConnect remote thing they have, once the computer restarts it'll automatically connect to their service and carry on the chat as if nothing ever happened.

Well, Agent Sushil disabled just about every adapter I had in the msconfig thing, it looked like he/she was just clicking things at random, and lo and behold I couldn't connect to the internet. I didn't know what he changed, so I just did a system restore to a point a couple days ago so I could get back online.

I tried it again a third time this evening, got Agent Harpreet this time, who told me to make a back up of all my critical files and he'd remotely wipe the PC clean and reset it. I told him/her it'd take a little while to back everything up, and he said she'd/he'd arrange a call back at 10:30PM tonight. His supervisor came online at the same time, Supervisor Surojit, who ensured me that I'd get a call back, and profusely apologized about how badly Agent Sushil jacked my computer up. It's 11:04 as I type this, and no word back.

Dell can ESAD. I'm calling those **** suckers on the phone tomorrow, and if I get someone with a name like Sushil, Harpreet, Surojit, Akhbar, Akhmed, I'm either gonna hang up and call back until I get an American that speaks fluent English, or I'm shipping this rag back to Dell's US office.

Is there actually any PC company that has tech support in the good ol' USA?? Show me one, and I'll go out and buy an equivalent machine to what I've got now.

I could hardly understand the lady I talked to on the phone when I ordered the computer either. Nothing I hate more than calling somewhere and talking to some douche I cant understand. I usually just get pissed and hang up

As far as the **** sucking....Ill probably just shove the phone down my pants....close enough...

"Sir....are you still there....whats that noise???"

*THWACK THWACK THWACK* "**** AND SUCK WHILE I GOT THE RECIEVER DOWN MY PANTS BISH!!!"

They really aren't that bad as far as prices go with the discounts available. My daughter is really smart, she can operate any computer.

Yeah, speak of the devil, just as I hit the submit button on my previous post, I get a phone call from Agent...I dunno WTF his name is, but he seems to think it's something wrong with Windoze. He said he's sending me reinstallation discs (which I already have, which I told him I already have like five times) for XP so I can reinstall Windoze and try again.

Okay, maybe it's just me, but here's how I see it: This PC is still under warranty. It's under warranty until September 1, 2009.

WTF am I the one fixing it? Does Dell realize how screwed up that sounds?

That'd be like me giving an engine to a customer with a 2007 F150 and telling him to install it.

Jesus Christ, if I broke it, fine, tell me and I'll pay for it, but otherwise, if the sumbitch is under warranty why do I have to fix it?!

Mother f#!@$!^#$!#%^@$#&$#*^$^@#$*^$@$@!%!$#!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!

Edit - Oh yeah, now I have to sit here and wait for this ****weed to call me back, confirming that the CDs (which again I already have) are gonna be sent to me.

I guess I never asked about and rebates at the time.
I talked to a guy for a long time about the 'dual boot' feature or whatever it is...where I could run Windows XP on the computer....
I guess its not so much that I couldnt figure the Apple out, its more that I dont want too

When he started the computer up in Windows to show me the whole Apple store got silent.
