I think what some people are trying to say is that you can get a different level trim truck that doesnt look much different for alot less $$$ but to each their own. I happen to like your truck FordScrew and the only thing I would change are the grille and the taillight things. Do you happen to have any pics of the interior- I dont think ive ever seen an LT interior except the Lincoln website. I might be biased but I think Ford make a very good decision with the FX2 this year where they focused on minor but important things and kept the price down. I think if they put a little more time into the LT they could have made it more popular and would not have gotten the axe. I doubt we have seen the last of a Lincoln truck though.

Black3v, thanks for the comments. You yourself have a hell of a truck too. I was actually leaning towards black wheels because of your truck. I actually showed my fiance your truck to explain how its going to turn out eventually.

I really need to linex first though, because the bed is getting f-ed up from using it for work everyday. Paint buckets, tools and a cooler sliding around kinda takes its toll on it quickly.

Get a DualLiner and you won't have the sliding... plus you'll have dent protection!

Your friendly neighborhood DualLiner man!

PS: Love the Lincoln grille and the piping on the seats does look very nice!

The ONLY things I would change about the LT are.........

1. The chrome Rockers panel, but looks like you've stepped up above that so

2. The chrome trimming on the taillights, why would they put that there? That looks stupid and totally out of place to me

Other than that VERY good looking truck.

It gets used as a truck just like the F150 did.

Actually i remember seeing it on Lincoln's website and didnt like it. One day i just decided to trade the f150 and have the dealer transfer it in for me without seeing the black and grey piping. It was a good thing I liked it because i would have been screwed if it looked like s**t.

You guys don't like lower chrome/stainless? I have it on both my trucks. Oh well, the girls seem to love it. And my Mark LT is used like the F-150 that it is. I do seem to get more looks in it then a reg. pickup though, maybe it's all in my head....

Menard; I don't mind the look at all. Done properly it looks sharp.
The LT looks sharp; I'm just not big on the tail lights, if I had to throw in a complaint.

Those interior shots are very nice as well.

Hey menard, nice LT and welcome to the small group of us. Its not that i dont like the chrome, it looks good, it just wasnt the look i was after. Also i didnt want to get the exact same truck as my nephew either. He has a black 06.

Thanks. I really like the looks of the '07's, especially yours. The black leather looks really nice, I have grey with black piping.

On another note, I also didn't like the taillights, so I changed them. Is there a way to remove the big reflector thing (heat gun?), and is the tailgate painted underneath them??

Menard, in your case, i would take the truck to the body shop and have them blackout the stock tails and tailgate reflectors. Even if you took the reflectors off, the middle piece would look out of place and too short. Just my opinion, but i know that would look bada**. I even thought about doing that to mine, but the chrome surrounds are part of the light and cant be removed. It might still look good, but i dont know.
