I'm sure that truck driver was worried about his daddys flat tire......
That pisses me off, he was more upset at his own inconvinece than anything or anyone else. How self centered, selfish irresponsiable, and otherwise ignorant to the world around him could he be?
I'm sure it's not easy on that trucker to run out of gas while trying to deliver that bridge.

If a flat tire was all that his dad had, his insurance company would tell him to call AAA if he had a membership and they would tell such while laughing out loud. If you called your auto insurance company and tell them you got a flat tire, and ONLY a flat tire, they would say "Well, I hate it for ya" and hang up.

After paying for the cost of that mistake, I would like to see the look on the insurance adjusters face when he is handed the bill for the flat tire.
I'm sure he'll jump right up and drive over with a brand new tire.
But, actually, if it can be proven the metal came from the trailer, and I'm sure it did, it is the responsibilty of the trucking company to pay damages.
And I do not drive vehicles with a repaired tire, so a brand new one would be in in order here.
