Yea no need. I understand the attraction to it, but it is blatantly illegal.

I have a family member who calls me constantly because there is something wrong with their LW. They keep getting bogus songs. They are on dialup and the results are seeded with bogus copies now it takes them hours to get a few songs and most of the time they are crap.

I suggested Itunes (the guy owns his own business) and he said "Nah, I want 'em for free, I'll just deal with the bad downloads"

Needless to say when he calls me to fix his Windows he won't get the family discount of 100% for computer repair work.

 

Now, now, let's not introduce common sense, morals and honesty into this thread.

 

Lmao, im SURE thats how everyone who has limewire's computer is like, LOL. Tell them to ****ing reinstall, it fixes all their problems, but youre probably too busy being righteous and will just have them believe your half *** responses even though their ways of getting music shouldnt be by anyway your decision. built54 - are yuh all set on limewire? I didn't read back that much- my bad. I have a couple kids that were addicted to that and have a freakin hardrive full chit . Virus free - Only on a MAC.

Currently it's not illegal to download music in Canada so I'm safe.

 

I just to say thanks to JBMX928 for Bitlord. I used Bit Torrent in the past and it was so slow that i just got rid of it. But bitlord is awesome. And so far I have been lucky with LW no viruses.
