The Cost Of Illegals

Got this off of another forum I'm a Member of...

Hope these 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read by the majority of Americans. Then they will have something to yell at their U.S. Congress members.

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each
year. http://tinyurl.com/zob77

2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.
http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens.
http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English! http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP...01/ldt.01.html

5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP...01/ldt.01.html

6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP...01/ldt.01.html

7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP...01/ldt.01.html

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare &
social services by the American taxpayers.
http://premium.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0610/29/ldt.01.html

9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP...01/ldt.01.html

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the United States . http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP...12/ldt.01.html

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroine and marijuana, crossed into the U. S. from the Southern border. Homeland Security Report: http://tinyurl.com/t9sht

12. The National Policy Institute, "estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period."
http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.o...eportation.pdf

13. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin. http://www.rense.com/general75/niht.htm

14. "The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States
http://www.drdsk.com/articles.html#Illegals

So using the LOWEST estimates, the annual cost OF ILLEGAL ALIENS is $338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR! So if deporting them costs between $206 and $230 BILLION DOLLARS, Hell get rid of em', We'll be ahead after the 1st year!!!

Discuss.......

They're good for the economy too. That's only th negative.

How much do they contribute to our economy though?

I know, small portions of them send money back home... but they're making money and spending it here in America. #13.. they can't prove that.

My mother and her business partner own several rental houses, renting out for around $7-$800 a month. The most that live in one of those houses is 3 people. They always pay and they have some of the cleanest houses they rent. I know.. I just put down some flooring in one of the houses.

You can't only look at the negative side of things. There is a positive side too.

that's all.

I think every time we catch one of em we should take fingerprints and pictures of em and enter it in a Illegal Immigrant Database and then fly them over Mexico and throw them out of the plane. Then, if they are caught in the US illegally again, put em in the electric chair.

C'mon Captain, That's just ignorant.

Alot of them are just human too, looking for a better life for themselves.

I woudn't put all the blame on them... look at what your own government is doing to SUPPORT them.

Government paid housing
Welfare.

Wic.. which I think is fine. The kids don't have any chioce.

Did you know that down here in s Tx, when an illegal is caught, if they're from Mexico (or South America), they're deported. BUT, if they're from anywhere else, they are merely issued a citation along with a court date.....how many of those do you think return for thier court date?

If you want to come to our country then do it legally. How hard is that? I didn't used to direct this much hate towards them but when they started getting groups together and protesting about being treated unfarily and demanding things from our government, I drew the line. Also, do you know how many yards me and my American friend have lost to Illegal Mexicans this summer because of how cheap they work for? It's a joke. If I didn't have to pay any taxes like them then I wouldn't mind working for less money but it's impossible to do when you have to pay the bills that come with being an American citizen.

And you know why they're called "Illegal Immigrants"? Because what they are doing is against the law. I don't understand how some of you try to find positives about them being here.

Someone sent me this a while back and I kept it because I thought it was pretty good.
--------------------
Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters:

You are Required to let me stay in your house You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan You are Required to Educate my kids You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family

(my husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house

And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me.

It's a long, difficult trail of paperwork and BS to become a US citizen. Takes years.

How do you know they are "illegal"? They could be 100% American citizens or in the process of. If you know they're illegal, call the cops on them when you see them out.

You're right. They are breaking the law and should be punished..at least shown the way and helped to become a legal American.

By "them", I'm assuming you mean just Mexicans in general. You cannot tell if one is illegal or not just by looking at them.

I'm just trying to enlighten this thread somewhat. People tend to look only at the negative side of things. I'm not saying be optomistic about the situation, just don't be ignorant about it either.

BTW. Ignorant does not mean stupid. I'm not saying ANYONE in this thread is being stupid.

That is a good idea. I only looked at the negative side of your reply and commented.

I think that anybody caught trying to sneak over our border should be shot on the spot. I understand that they come here to support their families, but as was stated before, they need to do it legally. By coming over here without the correct paperwork they are breaking the law. Why aren't they treated like the criminals that they are?

I also think we need to start cracking down on the employers who hire illegals. They should be fined big bucks for every illegal they are caught hiring. After a few businesses are shut down the others may get the picture. Take the jobs away from illegals and they won't have nearly as many reasons to come here.

If they want to come here bad enough to risk their own as well as their families' lives then what's a little bit of paperwork?

That would be a logical start.....but try telling that to a business friendly administration......instead, they want to offer amnesty.
