Yep---those garbage burgers are awesome---top it off with a few cold ones, some fries and and onion stack, and well, somewhere, a cardiologist just had himself a great dream.

Tim C.

BTW--the original Max and Erma's had telephones at the tables so you couold talk to other tables--taken out due to something called harrassment, I guess.

Compaired to a fast food joint it is, it is always the temp I like, the radio is always on the right station and there is no flies all over the place. Of course it is in my truck but I consider it above a McDonalds or Burger King with alot better food, but not quite up there with a Chilies as you are actually inside.

Max and Erma's Burger Menu: (sorry---couldn't get it straight from the website; had to cut and paste.)

Here, a good burger starts with the perfect size—6 or 10 oz.—to satisfy any appetite. Each one is never frozen and grilled perfectly to order. Handcrafted with layers of mouthwatering ingredients.

We just don’t believe in thawed-out, assembly line burgers.

Simple HamburgerA mouth-watering prepared-to-order burger.

Simply Spectacular Cheeseburger

BBQ BurgerSmothered with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar & bacon.

Cajun BurgerCajun spices, grilled onions & pepper jack cheese.

Bacon & Aged Cheddar BurgerWith cheddar & bacon cooked fresh daily.

Bacon & Bleu BurgerWith strips of bacon & crumbles of bleu cheese.

Tomato Mozzarella BurgerTopped with tomato-basil spread, thick sliced mozzarella, fresh basil & oven-roasted tomatoes. Served with our Baby Greens Salad.

Sautéed Mushrooms & Swiss Burger

O-O-O BurgerSurrounded by three fresh onion flavors: sweet caramelized onions, spiced Cajun onions under melted pepper jack cheese & onion rings on top. Served with a side of made-from-scratch onion rings!

The Garbage BurgerBacon, American, cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms, guacamole & marinara.

Big Bad Double CheeseburgerBig is beautiful. We hope you can finish it!

Probably the best I have ever had.

I worked the plate for a state HS baseball final this year in columbus---stopped at the original Max and Erma's---had the Garbage burger, onion rings, etc.---wife was awakened on the way home when I pushed the Temptation button.

When I get a Myrtle's cheeseburger, I always have to get an Earl Campbell sausage link(spicy) to go with it. With mustard.
