After all this rain we've been getting.....it washed over in my other neigbors yard, and it looks great too.

FYI, either salt or fertilizer in heavy doses will burn the grass and ruin the soil for several years after it gets a good rain and disolves. The only short term fix is to replace the soil and reseed.

It will likely be parked in his spot tonight. It's an eyesore but, it won't be in front of his driveway -- well, at least not yet.

In Lexington the code states that no vehicle of anykind can stay parked for more then 24 hours without being moved. I don't know whaa is states in Da'ville but you may check into that.
I to had some college kids that would park head into the curb on my court making it hard for me to turn around with my trailer hooked up, I asked a buddy who was a cop and he gave me a stack of the orange tow stickers, from time to time I would place them on the cars sometime on more then one window per car to get the point across and sign it with some phony name like Officer Barbrady it would help for a few days.

I had a guy who kept parking in front of my house even after telling me he would stop.I got the yellow pages and found a junk yard that would pick up junk for free.I called them and told them the car was junk and it needed towed to the scrap yard and I would bring the title the next day.The truck came and hooked to the car and the owner came runnin out and moved the car into his drive and never parked in the street again.

I also had a friend that went out and painted the curb infront of his house yellow one night and that stoped the guy who was parking out front.

I have used open house signs that were "found" and placed in said persons front yard. The door bell at 7am on sat morn tends to **** people off and I sure enjoyed it myself.

2ft peice of rebar driven into the ground will wreck a mower blade.

The best thing you can do about the car, is see if it is up to date on it's tags. If not, next time it's parked out there, call the cops and inform them that an abandoned car with outdated tags has been in the street in front of your house for X amount of days. They will tow it away. Most cities have ordinances about out of date and immovable vehicles on the streets and/or alleys.
I had the same issue with mowing with my current neighbor. The teenager would have his ipod cranked while mowing, and pay no attention to what he was doing and mow way over by my trees, which are a good 10 feet inside the property line! I talked with him and he agreed to be more careful and was apologetic. I guess it was too much work for the lazy POS cause now they hired a lawn service that also scalps the lawn. I went out there and stopped them while they were mowing, showed them the property marker, and advised them if they continued to scalp my side, I would send them a bill for re-seeding! They have been very careful since that.
I stopped another issue with them...they let their dog just run free and it would leave deposits in my yard two to three times a day. I cleaned them up over the course of a week, deposited them in a Wal-mart sack, and took it to the front door. When they came to the door, I said that most "responsible" dog owners clean up after their dogs, and that if I was going to be "responsible" for cleaning up after theirs, I would write up a contract and bill them for the service, since they were paying to have everything else done around their house. Needless to say, the dog has not been in my yard since. It's not the dog's fault, they just think that their sheit doesn't stink.

My .02 worth...good luck

Can you blame him? He doesn't want that POS parked in his driveway or in front of his house making his house look bad.......
