great then i will go with the Monster Cable setup...cant wait till the August 21 and for my bday when i can get it...thanks for all yalls help with everything and helping me decide...

As for Component vs. Regular cables, (assuming you mean Composite, AKA Yellow, Red, and White, when you say regular) it will make a world of difference if you have an HDTV. And really, there should be almost no visual difference between Component and HDMI. The only thing that's really nice about HDMI is it's all in one cable.
