Baw ha ah ah ah ah ah ah ah R U ****** crazy HELLZ FRIGGING NO WE AINT TALKING BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, no no no
The Super Jeep Baby (you know the Stock Lightning Killer, hehehehe) it's officially been delivered to the new owner and it's out of me hands.....
I'm going to miss is a lot no doubt, it was a great choice every morning deciding between 420 HP or like 800 ; o ) But I bought that house up in Lake George I've wanted my whole life and Super Jeep just isnt the vehicle for it.
It's 300 miles each way and last week I couldnt even make it up there on a full tank and had to stop in Albany which is still @ 45 miles away to fill up again. This gives me a savings of 6 MPG more times a round trip of 600 miles equals ---. BAM 360 FREE MILES EACH AND EVERY TRIP..... Plus I needed something to tow with since the house is huge and has "0" furniture in it, AND I have a boat ramp like 600 ft from my house and we'll be getting something to dump in there by next summer I'm sure. My house is surrounded by Lake Luzerne and the Hudson's KICK *** White Water Rafting. The CRAZY RAPIDS are like 200 ft from my house, a bridge with a 80 ft drop that people actually jump off (thats maybe an 1/8 of a mile away), the Beach and Lake Luzerne itself it even closer to my house. Tennis courts across the street, golfing up the block, sking within 20 minutes, fishing everywhere, ice cream and a general store like a few buildings away, It's heaven I tell ya (well not the house) some pic's here...
The original plan was to lease a Bose Edition CTS for 299.00 a month but it also wast the right vehicle SOOOO Vinnie told me I had to buy this and I did, V IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG IT'S ON YOU.... (hehehehe)

I hooked the Kid up to keep him busy on the ride up

Well looky there I snaped it just as the scene was changing, hehehe

It's a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with a Cap on it. I found what I consider a good deal and I now save 450.00 a month on payments AND the sob only has 12K on it with a bumper to bumper wrrnty, WOO HOO !!! Big ole 4.0 V-6 with 4.10's (4WD of course with a Hi + Low), the hitch set up, etc...
Not to mention AT LEAST 200.00 a month savings in gas, BAM 600.00 + savings.
It's a good day......

Rob, Congrats on the new ride/ home, and agree'd it's much better as a weekend hauler than than the Jeep, not to mention the 6 bill's in your pocket every month/6K a year. While I skipped the dual hotrod thing, I bought a Jeep Commander for a mall rat/weekend hauler and I have to say while I do keep my vehicles mint if it catch's a ding so be it, in 2 more years trade it in and get something else to haul the family in.
THANKS ALL,
They just sold a house a few numbers away fom mine that was 750 sq ft and it sold for 140K, mine is 1500 plus sq ft and I got it for 65K cash (Thumbs Up) (they originally had it listed for 94K). Even the Real Estate Broker said if I clean up the inside I can double my money in a month, it was a great investment ; o )
My current L is the one in my sig

The Jeep I sold

was the SRT 8 Super Jeep 420/420 and yes it will eat stock Lightnings, and GTO's and Stang GT's, and and and. It's a very impressive Vehicle and I enjoyed it alot, they run from 12.9 - 13.2 dead stock off the showroom floor, unfortunately they also get from 2 - 6 MPG when you beat on it on the streets and even with 44 lbs of air in the tires using cruise on the interstate your lucky to get 12 - 14 MPG, (16 is the highest I've ever seen but it'll average out much lower).

Thanks ALL, ya bad connection V hehehe...
WOW look at all the Dons and V's bragging bout their 4WD ALL OF A SUDDEN,
(now that Super Jeep is gone)
LMMFAO @ lightninquick, baw ha ha ha .....
Believe me Adam the thought of the Concept Adrenaline was in my mind through the purchase, hehehehe (hey after all it was going to be the original Lightning replacement)

AMOF I wished I could have found a used Adrenaline Sport Trac but I couldn't,
I have to settle with:
Ford retains the single-overhead cam 4.0-liter V6 for 2005. It will produce 210
horsepower at 5200 rpm and 245 lb-ft of torque at 3000 rpm, for ample power to meet most requirements. It is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission available with Ford ControlTrac four-wheel drive that features low-range gearing and can be left engaged on pavement. Top-level trims have front tow hooks for their 4WD editions. The 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac has a 5,300-pound maximum towing capacity and all models come with a 4-wire trailering harness, a full-size spare tire and 235/70R16 tires.
5300 lbs hu ???
Hmm lets see de-weight the L, get 4 of those Roller wheels you use to push yout truck around the garage and BAM I got me a poor mans trailer
