Trucks owned by High Schoolers
Must be a global warming effect...
on the other hand, i now have no school and my work schedule hasnt been updated to that, so i have all kinds free time this week. going to get another job probably, perhaps at a golf course.
Im a senior in high school. I bought my first car (97 ford explorer) all on my own...from my grandma. lol had it about a year and a half, saved up enough money, sold that, and bought my truck in october i believe (once again all on my own lol)
im not trying to sound annoying with the bought it my self stuff but im tired of people assuming mommy and daddy bought it for me. and i am damn proud of it. i think everyone should have to buy their own vehicle...makes for much more respect for it.

. It goes by fast...
i definetly consider my self fortunate because, honestly i didnt see my self driving a truck like this till well into college. i was driving literaly the grandma vehicle (and to top that it was a purpleish color
) but the right things fell in to place and i bought this truck. so i am very proud of my truck and i pay for everything that goes on it. now i am also proud enough to admit that my "mommy and daddy" do pay for gas and insurance.
so i am somewhat lucky i guess. haha but i do pay for the gas if we go out wheeling or something other than "normal daily driving" i also bought the truck right as the gas prices dropped way down...and at the time me and my parents had made the deal if gas was $3 or more, i would pay half...luckily for me it hasnt gotten up there yet while i have had this truck
but im also gettin a motorcycle for college so i dont waste my gas coming home. now that i am going to be completely responsible for, paying for it, gas, and insurance. lol

That truck is SICK! I wish I could afford to buy an 07 F-150. I just simply don't have the funds right now. I lost my second job last winter due to being laid off. Kinda sucks even though the job sucked but thats how I was able to make payments on my truck and buy my mods. But the ol saying goes ***** in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up faster.
this is a big and old *** thread!
im 22 but my first truck i had in highschool..2001 ford explorer sport trac. did all the mods myself
ended up rolling it at 3 am off the freeway offramp..we never get ice in souther cali but it was a crazy cold winter and i slid and lost control..loved that truck too, but love my current bad boy even more

Heard that. HS was fun too though, but college is much more independent and since you don't really know anyone you don't have stupid rumors swirling around about you and no gay kiddie drama.
